The DC King of Frederick Contest is this Saturday August 29th. This contest is invite only for 2 riders from each of the best shops in area but, we have decided to have a open skate qualifying session. 10-15 skaters from the qualifying session will have a chance to skate in the contest. If you feel like you can skate with the best in the area show up and skate. Registration is at 12 noon and the contest starts at 1pm. First place is an all expense paid trip to Chicago for this years DC King of Chicago finals and a chance to compete for $10000.

Element skateboards brought their team by PITCREW on their 'make it count' tour to sign some autographs, then proceed to the hillstreet skate park to put on a demo. big thanks to Chad Muska for doing the rain dance to make it stop raining so, Bam Margera, Darrell Stanton, Chad Tim Tim, Collin provost, Levi Brown and Mike Vallely could show us what they got.

Thanks for everyone that came out to the Element "Make it Count" Demo on August 10th, 2009.  Even with the day being so hot and the signing getting off to a late start, we saw many smiles as the crowd made its way through the door and heard many positive comments throughout the day. There were many people there as the line for autographs stretched from inside the store all the way around the corner of the block. The Team then went to the Hill Street Skatepark and throw down some amazing skateboarding. Muska was hurt but kept everyone else hyped up by talking through a bullhorn throughout the demo. The Element "Make it Count" Website already has a little right-up on the demo with a video of the event as well as video from each stop on their tour.Thank you Element for making this a demo that we will never forget.

Vans will be stopping by again and this time they will have there am and flow team with them.  PITCREW team rider R.T. Mulligan will be among those there with vans on there feet and wheels on concrete. There will also be a best trick contest during the event as well as free hotdogs for any one who would like to stop by.

 

DC Shoes will be hosting the King of Series right here in Frederick, Maryland. On August 29th, there will be a contest at teh Hill St. Skatepark and the winner will receive an all expense paid trip to the King of Chicago Contest in October.More info will be posted soon.

 

Congratulation Spencer Brown for winning the eS Game of Skate this year in Frederick, Maryland. This year there was a total of 356 entries making this year the biggest for Pitcrew and the second biggest ever. The eS Game of Skate website has a little write-up on Frederick's stop as well as many photos to check out.
